3/28/2021 – Vikings used to give kittens as wedding presents.

According to The Viking Answer Lady “Kittens were sometimes given to new brides as an essential part of setting up a new household. It is especially appropriate that brides should receive cats, since cats were associated with Freyja, the goddess of love. The Vikings believed that Freyja rode a cart drawn by a team of cats.”

3/31/2021 – In the 90’s, nearly 30,000 rubber duckies were lost at sea. They are still being found today!

From Treehugger.com – In 1992, a shipping crate containing 28,000 plastic bath toys was lost at sea when it fell overboard on its way from Hong Kong to the United States. No one at the time could have guessed that those same bath toys would still be floating the world’s oceans nearly 20 years later.
